Excel is one of the most flexible skills for your program to provide reports about how your I&R is performing, the number of persons contacting you, as well as the needs of those programs. Three Inform USA members will share how they use Excel for reporting, including basics and a few advanced features Excel offers. Finally, the discussion will include information on how to customize reports for its intended audience.

Tom Buckley

Tom currently serves as the Senior Director, Health Information Services for the Epilepsy Foundation’s Epilepsy Resource Center which includes the Epilepsy & Seizures 24/7 Helpline, National Epilepsy Library, and public health publications. He holds a Master of Human Services from Lincoln University, is a Human Services Board Certified Professional, and is a CRS and CRS-A/D with Inform USA. Tom has worked in the Human Service field in the areas of law enforcement, health, and in mental health services for over 35 years. Tom currently serves on the board of Inform USA and as Co-chair to the Training Committee.

Keith Lavery-Barclay

Keith has 19 years of experience working in information & referral with Certification as a Resource Specialist - Database Curator and Resource Specialist - Aging/Disabilities. In the past, he has served as a board member for the Alliance of Information and Referral Systems (AIRS and volunteered as a member of the training committee and a past chair of the TAxonomy Committee. He also served on the Certification Commission to help train and improve the standard of crisis counselors and resource specialists for the International Alliance of Information and Referral Specialists.

He is currently serving on the board of Inform Florida (formerly known as Florida Alliance of Information and Referral Services or FLAIRS). He is the Director of Information and Referral for Advantage Aging Solutions, one of the 11 Area Agencies on Aging within Florida working together using a statewide database. They are currently migrating data into a closed-loop solution database being build by the Department of Elder Affairs. 

Sean Blair

Sean Blair is the Director of Data Services at 211 Broward, leading the Database and Data Teams. With six years in the Information & Referral field, he was previously the Database Manager for 211 Texas, Permian Basin. Sean's professional journey includes a decade in the military, followed by ten years in the corporate world, before transitioning to roles in EMS and various other non-profits. Holding a Masters of Science in Emergency Management, Sean brings a diverse background and a passion for making a positive impact.
