Professional Bio

Celia brings over 20 years of experience in the aging industry, with a legacy of service rooted in generations of family tradition. Inspired by her grandmother, Katherine Brown, Celia began her journey in this field after relocating from North Alabama to the metro Atlanta area in 2005. It was there that her passion for supporting older adults and individuals with disabilities truly flourished.

She holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of North Alabama and a Master’s degree in Counseling/Psychology from the University of West Alabama. Celia is also certified in Mental Health First Aid and Motivational Interviewing, allowing her to take a holistic, person-centered approach to her work.

At the Atlanta Regional Commission, Celia serves as the ADRC Client Services Liaison Supervisor. In this role, she leads a team of eight employees within the Information & Referral group, ensuring individuals and families receive timely, compassionate, and effective support. With her leadership, deep expertise, and unwavering dedication, Celia remains committed to empowering others and enhancing their quality of life.
