Crystal Hood is the Information & Assistance Director of the Detroit Area Agency on Aging (DAAA).
She has served in multiple roles since 2012 as a Certified Community Resource Specialist, to her current role as Director.
In addition, served as agency lead on the AAA SAGE-LGBT Older Adult Coalition and the AASA PREVNT Elder Abuse Pilot Project, that was presented at the 2018 n4a National Conference. Crystal currently serves as co-lead on the DAAA COVID-19 In-Home Vaccination and Booster Program for homebound senior, caregivers, and family members.
She attended Central Michigan University where she obtained a master’s in health care administration.
