Micki Thompson is the President & CEO of First Contact, leading innovative crisis intervention and information & referral services through Florida’s 211 and 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline programs. With more than 30 years of experience in the field, Micki has dedicated her career to ensuring individuals and families have timely access to critical resources, compassionate support, and life-saving help.

A recognized leader in the sector, Micki has served as Past President, Vice President, Treasurer, and Secretary of Inform Florida (formerly the Florida Alliance of Information and Referral Services), where she has championed statewide collaboration and best practices. Known for her creative problem-solving, strategic vision, and commitment to nurturing strong teams, Micki drives initiatives that improve service delivery, strengthen community partnerships, and elevate the capacity of crisis lines to meet evolving needs.
