Nickie Carter

I am the Director of Outreach at 211info Oregon & SW Washington. I manage our team of Community Engagement Coordinators and Outreach Specialists throughout the 211info service area. We offer training both online and in-person for Community Based Organizations, presentations for community members, participate at events and resource fairs, provide marketing materials, and direct information & referral services for the communities we support. I have also provided Traumatic Brain Injury care navigation directly for veterans and their families. This is part of a pilot program, seperate from 211info, approved by the Oregon Health Authority, and run by the Center for Brain Injury Research and Training at the University of Oregon. I previously spent 17 years working as a public school teacher with students of all ages and had the opportunity to teach college students in Mexico. I have been with 211info for 3 and half years to date.
