Megan Rochford, PCC-S is a licensed clinical counselor with over 25 years of experience in leadership and clinical roles in the field of community mental health. Megan is the Director of NAMI Helpline Operations, where she oversees the planning and implementation of the NAMI HelpLine service program, ensuring that the HelpLine sets and meets standards for high-quality, trauma-informed, and culturally competent service delivery and resource management. Megan directs NAMI HelpLine’s clinical oversight and quality assurance programs and ensures those efforts are consistent with best practices and advance recovery; engages with NAMI Field Leaders to provide expertise on NAMI HelpLine Operations and volunteer management, represents NAMI and the NAMI HelpLine as a presenter and expert on peer-support services and mental health, and oversees opportunities and initiatives that position the HelpLine to grow in scale, effectiveness and impact. Before joining the NAMI national team at the beginning of 2022, Megan served as Program Director for NAMI Greater Cleveland for over two years. Megan also has lived experience; she is a caregiver for a loved one who lives with serious mental illness. Megan earned her Master’s in Clinical Counseling from Cleveland State University and her MBA from the University of Notre Dame.
