The 988 Program Coordinator plays a key role in supporting 2-1-1 Big Bend’s 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline services. This position manages Hotline Counselor II staff and supports Hotline Counselor I staff as needed. Responsibilities include training, supervision, scheduling, staff evaluations, and overseeing follow-up, feedback, and advocacy assignments.
The Coordinator ensures quality service delivery by managing hotline metrics, responding to staffing shortages, and helping expand the 988 program. This role requires strong leadership, adaptability, and the ability to develop new systems and processes in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
This is a full-time position based in Tallahassee, FL, primarily Monday through Friday, with some evenings, weekends, or holidays required. As part of a 24/7 crisis response team, availability during community emergencies is expected. The 988 Program Coordinator reports to the Director of Hotline Programs.
