St. Joseph’s Helpers is seeking an Assistant Executive Director of Information & Resources to provide high-level support to the Executive Director while leading the organization’s Information & Resources Department.
Responsibilities include overseeing daily departmental operations, developing and maintaining community resource databases and referral systems, supervising staff and volunteers, building partnerships with churches, nonprofits, government agencies, healthcare providers, businesses, and other community organizations, and supporting the organization’s expansion into new service areas.
The Assistant Executive Director will also assist with strategic planning, organizational systems and policies, community outreach, volunteer recruitment and engagement, fundraising, donor stewardship, marketing, events, grant reporting, and departmental budgeting.
The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated leader with strong organizational, communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills. Candidates should be able to manage multiple priorities, maintain confidentiality, and effectively communicate the mission of St. Joseph’s Helpers to community partners, donors, volunteers, and the public.
Experience in nonprofit leadership, social services, community outreach, administration, or operations is preferred. Experience supervising staff and volunteers, managing community events, using CRM and digital communication platforms, administering grants, or delivering public presentations is also beneficial.
This position requires a commitment to serving seniors, veterans, individuals with disabilities, and other vulnerable populations within a Christian, mission-driven nonprofit environment. Some local travel and evening or weekend events may be required.
