Inform Florida, the statewide network for 211 and 988 programs, is seeking a collaborative, strategic, and mission-driven Executive Director to help strengthen Florida’s crisis response and community navigation network.

The Executive Director will work closely with the Board of Directors, member centers, state agencies, funders, and statewide partners to support effective governance, strategic planning, organizational priorities, and long-term sustainability.

Responsibilities include strengthening Board and governance practices; leading organizational communications, branding, and stakeholder engagement; guiding statewide 211 and 988 data strategy and reporting; supporting advocacy, funding, and grant efforts; and strengthening member engagement, peer learning, and statewide coordination.

The ideal candidate will be a strong relationship builder who can manage multiple priorities, translate strategy into action, and communicate effectively with Boards, members, funders, government partners, and other stakeholders. Knowledge of nonprofit governance, public policy, advocacy, funding strategy, data reporting, and statewide network coordination is strongly preferred. Experience with 211, 988, community navigation, or related human-service systems is also preferred.

A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and directly related experience, is required. Candidates should have progressively responsible leadership experience, experience working with a Board or similar governing body, and experience managing complex external relationships and strategic initiatives.

This independent contractor position averages 30 hours per week for 50 weeks per year and is primarily remote, with periodic travel throughout Florida and occasional out-of-state travel.
