Island Senior Resources is seeking an organized, compassionate, and service-oriented Case Aide to support its COPES Case Management team and help eligible clients safely remain in their own homes.

The Case Aide will work closely with case managers, clients, families, service providers, and community partners to support client services and day-to-day case management operations.

Responsibilities include maintaining case files, databases, and payment documentation; documenting client and community contacts; assisting with client service plans; making referrals and requesting medical records; supporting Individual Providers with contracting, orientation, training, and payment issues; coordinating training logistics; and providing administrative support to field staff and supervisors. The Case Aide will also provide backup reception and intake coverage during absences or periods of high demand.

The ideal candidate will have strong organizational, customer service, communication, and data-entry skills and be comfortable working with confidential information and multiple database and office systems. Candidates should demonstrate sound judgment, patience, cultural competency, and the ability to de-escalate difficult situations. Experience working in human services, particularly with older adults or people with disabilities, is preferred. Bilingual candidates are also encouraged to apply.

Applicants must have two years of relevant college coursework and three years of social-services or support-staff experience; a bachelor’s degree in social services or a related field and one year of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience totaling five years.

This part-time, non-exempt position averages 20 hours per week, Monday through Friday, and is based primarily in Oak Harbor, Washington, with occasional work at the Langley office. The wage range is $23.33–$25.25 per hour, depending on experience.
