United Way of the Midlands is seeking a Database Curator to support the ongoing development and maintenance of the 211 Resource Database. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of community resource information used to connect individuals and families with essential services across the region. The Database Curator will work directly with community partners and service providers to verify, update, and maintain records in alignment with Inform USA and internal standards.

Responsibilities include gathering and entering data for new and existing resources, monitoring community updates and changes, applying taxonomy standards, supporting external partners with database updates, and representing 211 at community meetings and events. The ideal candidate will bring strong written communication skills, attention to detail, professionalism, and a commitment to high-quality community information services.

Candidates with experience in social services, human services, communication, library science, or related fields are encouraged to apply. A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.
